  1. Tap Settings, and then tap Accounts.
  2. Tap Add account, and then:
    • To set up an IMAP account, tap Personal (IMAP).
    • We do not recommend using POP3 for sync purposes. However, we have included instructions should you wish.
  3. In the Add your email address text box, type the email address of the account that you created in cPanel (for example, user@example.com).
  4. Tap MANUAL SETUP.
  5. For the account type, tap Personal (POP3) or Personal (IMAP).

    • To synchronize messages, select the Sync email from this account check box.
    • If you are configuring an IMAP account, to download attachments when the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network, select the Automatically download attachments when connected to Wi-Fi check box.
  18. Tap NEXT. The Your account is set up and email is on its way! message appears:
    • To change the account name, type the new name in the Account name (optional) text box.
    • To change the display name that appears on messages that you send from this account, type the new name in the Your name text box.
  19. Tap NEXT. The Accounts page appears.
  20. To view the inbox for the new account, tap the home button, access the application list, and then tap Gmail.

Important: All incoming & outgoing connections require a username & password to authenticate (this is not optional even if the email client says otherwise). All server connections in order to function properly must use Secure SSL/TLS for authentication. If prompted for outgoing/incoming server ports. Please use the following:

  • Incoming ServerIMAP Port: 993 or POP3 Port: 995
  • Outgoing ServerSMTP Port: 465
